What is Phapa?

Phapa is a member management platform. Phapa provides a cloud-based technology solution to help member organisations like Unions and associations better manage their worker

What documents are required to become a Phapa member?

To become a member, you must provide a valid Aadhar proof. There is a validation process via Aadhar where you would have to provide the OTP generated on the phone number connected with the Aadhaar. We also require bank account details, either in the form of a cancelled cheque or first page of the passbook. Apart from these we would also require a recent passport size photograph.

What are the procedures to Join a Phapa managed association/union?

Browse through the associations/ unions at Phapa on the platform after registering. After selecting the organisation, you want to join, raise a request to join the organisation by selecting join from the services.

Once a request is raised an approval workflow is initiated. Once the organisation coordinator approves your request you will added to the organisation as a member.

How much time does it take for the service to be delivered?

The service time would vary from service to service. Please check the service description to find out essential details like, eligibility, timelines and documents required for the service.

Is my information secure?

Phapa does not share member information with any third party. The Aadhar and other documents are also securely stored in the users Digi locker. Thus, the member information is completely secured.

How to become a Phapa member?

To join Phapa the member has to pay an annual membership fee of INR 300. Members can get to our portal or walk into any of our service centres to register with Phapa.

How do I check the status of my request?

To check the status of the request user can go to their profile and check applied services the listing would have service status. Alternatively, the users can call up the helpline and take the help of our customer care executives. Phapa members can also walk into our conveniently located service points and find out the status of their query.

What are the eligibility criteria for PMAY?

  • The Applicant’s Family must not own a house in any part of the country.
  • In the case of a Married couple, either a Single or a Joint ownership deal is allowed, and both options will receive just one subsidy.
  • The Applicant’s Family must not have availed the benefit of any housing-related schemes set up by the Government of India.
